Mike helps Carl get into the car. Then he starts the engine and switches on the headlights.


Mike : So, where do you live?
Carl : My apartment's on 14th Avenue. You can cross town on Market Street.
Mike : Do I make a right or a left onto 14th?
Carl : A right. No, actually you turn left at the light and then it's on the right.
Mike : Are you sure?
Carl : Yes. I just got twisted around for a minute. It's just before Freeman Park, do you see those trees? Here's my building.
Mike : OK. This is a great location, dude. I gather mushrooms up there on the hillside sometimes.
Carl : You know about mushrooms?
Mike : Yes, you should have me show you the good places.
Carl : I don't really care for mushrooms.
Mike : Hm, maybe you've never had them cooked properly before.
Carl : Do you think I could get you to fix some for me sometime?
Mike : You probably could.
Carl : Well, thanks for the ride.
Mike : No problem. See you later!
