Working Hard at the Office

[Office]

Wednesday, 9:30 a.m.

It's a Wednesday morning at the offices of Hampton & Lyme, an advertising agency. Bill, an account executive, approaches Louise's desk.

Bill : Louise, can you help us out? [Listen]
Louise : I can certainly try.
Bill : It turns out that Great Legumes, Inc., the produce wholesaler whose business we're trying to win, has moved up their deadline for proposals. We have finished the rough draft, but now we have to hurry up and get the proposal ready to be delivered later today.
Louise : You're kidding! What time does it have to be done?
Bill : We need to have a messenger pick it up by 4 o'clock.
Louise : So you want me to. . .
Bill : Yeah, just combine it all into our usual impressive proposal format. The text and the budget are on this floppy disk, and here are the drawings we made, ready to scan.
Louise : What would you do without me?
Bill : Louise, there's no way we would withstand the competition.
